Many other Paterson Schools had projects moving forward as well.

National Science Youth Camp

I have the honor of informing you that robotics student Jeferson Mendoza has been selected as one of the two New Jersey students to attend the National Youth Science Camp. This prestigious program only selects the best students throughout America!

Two from each State (plus one from DC) are selected to attend the camp in West Virginia during the summer. Everything is paid for and at no cost to the student nor the school.

Only students of high merit are selected and it couldn't have gone to a better person!

Listed below are robotics students who Rutgers University has selected to attend their annual Shadow Program. The students will be living at Rutgers University New Brunswick campus for 4 days. They will partake in engineering workshops, experiments and lectures from engineering companies (such as Verizon, Boeing, etc.)

Here are the students below:

Ishmam Chowdhury  - STEM 11th

Randy Roque Sanchez - BTMF 11th

Nahian Ahmed - STEM 10th

Amel Hassan - STEM 11th

Mohamad Chacha - ACT 12th

Remember when you were five and wanted to be a cowboy/cowgirl? How about at six when you wanted to be a fireman/woman?  By eight you knew for sure you would be an astronaut!  Well ladies and gentlemen..hang on to that dream... it might come true.  Read the attached file to learn about the NASA program at PCCC.

PCCC would like you to attend a STEM conference on April 7th? Learn about the high-paying opportunities a degree in STEM-related programs can offer.    Take an introduction to genetics, participate in the International Hour of Code.... get a free lunch!
Any Juniors or Seniors interested in learning more about this program, read the attached flyer and come see Mrs. Prosperi in room 249 to sign up.  Don't miss a great opportunity to learn how PCCC can take you to the next level.
